At 15cm, this is the largest claw we sell, made for gathering up a full head of hair in one go. If you have long or thick hair and smaller claws keep slipping or won't close, this is the one to try.

The spring is covered, so it sits inside the claw rather than on show, and the teeth interlock when it closes to keep a firm hold all day. It's made in France from strong, non-brittle plastic with a gloss finish.

Will it hold very thick hair?

Yes. This claw is designed for long and thick hair. If your hair is fine or shoulder length, one of our medium claws (9–11cm) will sit more neatly.

What's the difference between the colours?

Tortoiseshell is the classic darker brown. Light Tortoiseshell is a lighter, warmer honey shade with the same pattern.
